Hand Tube Bender

Job Description

We are looking for a Hand Tube Bender to join our production team in Detroit. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience in bending tubes manually with a keen eye for accuracy. You'll be responsible for ensuring our products meet precise specifications and maintaining a clean workspace.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate bending machines for different production runs.
• Train new employees on tube bending techniques and safety procedures.
• Identify and mitigate potential quality issues early in the production cycle.
• Maintain an accurate log of production output and machine settings.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to uphold product standards.
• Evaluate material usages and efficiency during production.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the production process.

Requirements

Education

• Trade certification or apprenticeship in metalworking preferred

Experience

• Additional experience with various tube materials is advantageous.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to operate other metalworking equipment: Familiarity with welding or machining is a plus.
