Job Description

As an Insurance Underwriter, you'll play a vital role in assessing mortgage loan applications. Analyze financial information to determine borrowers' eligibility and compliance with regulations while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assess applications for FHA, VA, and USDA loans.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of mortgage lending regulations.
  • Develop and implement underwriting standards to minimize risk.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in mortgage underwriting
Technical Skills
  • Experience with automated underwriting systems
  • Knowledge of secondary mortgage market

Languages
  • English: Fluent
