Job Description

We are seeking a passionate Communications Teacher to engage with our undergraduate and graduate students. This role involves teaching journalism courses, developing curricula, and mentoring students to help them thrive in a fast-evolving media landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Lead classes in various media platforms, including digital and traditional journalism.
  • Create assignments and projects that cultivate critical thinking and creativity.
  • Guide students in developing portfolios showcasing their work.
  • Stay updated with trends in journalism and integrate them into the coursework.
  • Present at conferences and workshops to share research and best practices.
  • Participate actively in professional development opportunities and communities.

Requirements

Education
  • PhD in Communication or related field
  • Master's degree in Journalism or Media Studies is preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in journalism and 2-3 years of teaching experience

  • Knowledge of newsroom operations

Languages
  • English: Fluent
