We are seeking a committed Public Health Officer to join our team in Las Vegas. This role involves planning, implementing, and evaluating public health programs aimed at enhancing the well-being of our community. Responsibilities

• Oversee the development of health-related educational materials.
• Facilitate focus groups and community meetings to gather feedback.
• Support emergency preparedness and response efforts in public health.
• Conduct regular evaluations of public health programs and initiatives.
• Advocate for health equity and access to healthcare resources.
• Develop partnerships with various stakeholders to enhance health outreach.
• Provide guidance on health-related legislation and policies.
• Participate in public health research and presentations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Health Education or related field
• Master's degree in a health-related field is desirable

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in health program management

Certifications

• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
• First Aid/CPR certification

Languages
