Job Description

As a Drone Technician at XYZ Drone Services, you will play a crucial role in maintaining, repairing, and operating our advanced drones. This position is ideal for individuals with a passion for technology and aviation, ensuring optimal drone performance and compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair drones and related systems.
• Work closely with drone pilots to assist with pre-flight and post-flight checks.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation of all maintenance activities performed.
• Implement preventive maintenance protocols for all drones.
• Assist in creating training materials for operators.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety.
• Work with engineers to help design custom solutions for drone operations.
• Stay informed about the latest developments in drone technology and software tools.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
• Certifications related to drone operations are a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in drone technology and operations

Certifications

• FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate

Advantageous

• Knowledge of 3D modeling and photogrammetry: Familiarity with 3D modeling techniques and photogrammetry will be a significant asset.
