Trains Dispatcher Supervisor

Job Description

The Trains Dispatcher Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient movement of trains according to established schedules and ensuring compliance with company policies and government regulations. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily dispatching of trains, ensuring punctuality and safety.
• Train and mentor new dispatchers in company policies and procedures.
• Review and analyze dispatch logs to improve operational efficiency.
• Develop contingency plans for adverse weather or equipment failures.
• Communicate with external agencies regarding scheduling and compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Transportation or Logistics is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory position in train dispatching.

Languages

• English: Fluent
