Job Description

The Fitness and Wellness Coordinator will spearhead wellness initiatives across campus, managing the wellness center and leading various fitness programs. This role is essential in promoting healthy lifestyles and mental well-being among students.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and host workshops related to nutrition and fitness.
  • Lead strategic planning for wellness initiatives.
  • Evaluate student feedback to improve wellness programs.
  • Design and implement marketing strategies for wellness programs.
  • Facilitate health assessments and screenings for students.
  • Engage with student organizations to promote wellness.
  • Develop health and wellness materials for distribution.
  • Initiate partnerships with local health organizations.
  • Conduct training sessions on wellness topics for staff.
  • Oversee the scheduling of fitness classes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Promotion or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health (preferred)
Experience
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in wellness coordination or health promotion
