Job Description

As a Structural Metal Fabricator and Fitter, you will be responsible for assembling and installing metal structures crucial to construction projects. Your expertise in reading blueprints and utilizing various tools will ensure the creation of durable and safe frames.

Responsibilities

• Apply various techniques for metal assembly including welding and bolting.
• Inspect completed projects for compliance with specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow.
• Train and support junior staff in metal fabrication techniques.
• Manage inventory and supply requests for metal framing materials.
• Engage in continuous improvement of fabrication processes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in metalworking or welding preferred

Experience

• Experience in large-scale construction projects is advantageous.
