Tile and Marble Setter

Job Description

As a Tile and Marble Setter, you will be responsible for installing a variety of tile and marble surfaces, ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role requires measuring, cutting, and fitting tiles, as well as following safety protocols and using proper tools to deliver outstanding results.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for tile and marble installation by assessing needs.
• Utilize hand and power tools for installation and shaping tiles.
• Mix adhesives accurately to ensure optimal bonding during installation.
• Install tiles and marble according to specifications and patterns.
• Conduct site evaluations and manage respective installations.
• Provide on-site feedback and updates to project managers.
• Execute clean-up and handle waste materials responsibly.
• Train new employees in installation techniques and safety protocols.
• Develop relationships with clients by providing exceptional service.
• Follow all operational protocols to uphold company standards.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an apprenticeship or vocational training in tile-setting is preferred

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in tile and marble setting or related field.
