Job Description

In the role of Police and Sheriff's Patrol Officer, you will be responsible for patrolling neighborhoods, responding to calls for service, and collaborating with community members to promote safety. You will be an integral part of our law enforcement team.

Responsibilities

  • Patrol neighborhoods to ensure safety and security.
  • Investigate suspicious activities or reports of crime.
  • Provide assistance and service to the public as needed.
  • Document incidents and prepare daily activity reports.
  • Conduct traffic stops and enforce vehicle codes.
  • Work closely with community organizations to address safety concerns.
  • Participate in departmental training and drills.
  • Respond to emergencies and provide first aid as necessary.
  • Coordinate with detectives on follow-up investigations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice is strongly preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of law enforcement experience preferred
