Job Description

As a Transportation Inspector, you'll be entrusted with the critical tasks of evaluating the quality and safety of packaging materials. You'll work closely with production teams to detect defects, maintain rigorous standards, and ensure that all transportation requirements are met, helping us deliver excellence to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the integrity of packaging materials used in shipping.
  • Monitor compliance with industry regulations, ensuring no lapses occur.
  • Assist in developing quality assurance procedures specific to packaging.
  • Document inspection results and prepare reports for management.
  • Address any discrepancies effectively and modify processes accordingly.
  • Work cross-departmentally to enhance quality standards.
  • Engage in proactive training sessions to disseminate quality control knowledge.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal training in quality control or packaging standards is an asset
Experience
  • Prior experience in a logistics or manufacturing environment preferred
