Counter Top Maker

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Counter Top Maker to join our team. In this role, you will handle the cutting, installation, and quality assurance of countertops for both residential and commercial clients. Your expertise will help ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Effectively measure, cut, and install countertops, ensuring precision and quality.
• Engage closely with clients and designers to guarantee their specifications are met.
• Conduct inspections of finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Maintain and sharpen tools regularly to ensure they operate safely and effectively.
• Assist with material management, including loading and unloading.
• Uphold a clean work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Foster good communication channels with colleagues and clients.
• Follow all prescribed safety guidelines to mitigate risks.
• Participate in training sessions for new techniques in countertop installation.
• Evaluate and report on material quality to maintain standards.

Requirements

Education

• Technical certification in woodworking or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in countertop fabrication and installation

Technical Skills

• Experience with stone countertops
• CAD software knowledge

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Independence

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Hands-on experience using CAD design software to create custom countertops.
• Experience with installation of undermount sinks: Skilled in the installation of undermount sinks for seamless countertop finishes.
