Job Description

We are looking for a Database Administrator to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and maintaining our organization's databases, ensuring security, reliability, and performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain scalable database solutions for various applications.
  • Conduct periodic performance tuning and optimization of database systems.
  • Enforce data governance and compliance policies.
  • Evaluate and implement new database technologies and tools.
  • Provide support for database-related inquiries and issues.
  • Work with network teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Train junior database staff and oversee their development.
  • Document all procedures and updates to enhance team efficiency.
  • Facilitate project meetings to discuss database needs.
  • Develop scripts for automation of routine tasks.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Master's degree is an advantage
Experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in database administration or a related field
