Job Description

As an Aircraft Photographic Equipment Mechanic, you will be vital to our operations, focusing on the inspection, repair, and maintenance of specialized photographic equipment for aircraft. Your expertise will directly impact the quality of aerial imaging projects across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of aircraft cameras and imaging systems.
  • Report and rectify any data or performance discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA regulations pertaining to photographic equipment.
  • Assist in developing procedures for equipment upgrades.
  • Train new staff on maintenance procedures and safety compliance.
  • Implement new technologies to enhance maintenance efficiency.
  • Participate in safety meetings and contribute to safety improvement ideas.
  • Document technical specifications and maintenance procedures.
  • Provide input in the procurement of new photographic tools.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Completion of an FAA-approved aviation maintenance program preferred
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, focusing on photographic equipment
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of aircraft photography systems
  • Diagnostic skills
  • Proficiency in using maintenance software

Certifications
  • Valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certificate
