Job Description

As a Grinding and Lapping Machine Tool Setter, you will play a pivotal role in our production process. Your expertise will be essential in operating machinery to achieve precise finishing and smooth surfaces on metal and plastic components.

Responsibilities

• Setup machinery for grinding operations and calibrate equipment.
• Conduct tests to ensure machinery is operating at maximum efficiency.
• Apply lubrication to machinery to ensure smooth operation.
• Document equipment issues and perform troubleshooting.
• Assist in maintaining inventory levels of materials and tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to company policies regarding health and safety.
• Assist with training new team members on processes.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma required
• Completion of a machining certification program preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of related experience in manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Machine setup
• Mechanical aptitude

Soft Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with CAD software: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
