Brusher Tender

Job Description

A Brusher Tender is responsible for operating machinery that brushes excess material from wood products prior to sale or shipment. The role requires attention to detail to ensure that products meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate brushing machines for wood products.
• Conduct quality checks on products to confirm they meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment to prevent failures.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols during operations.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals.
• Assist with training new employees on machinery operation.
• Report any malfunctions to the maintenance team promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience in a manufacturing or wood products environment preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with woodworking machinery: Hands-on experience with wood brushing or related machinery.
