Lens Coating Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a meticulous Lens Coating Technician to join our team. Your primary responsibility will be to apply coatings according to specifications while maintaining quality and safety standards in a collaborative manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with quality control to ensure coating standards are met.
• Utilize advanced coating machines and technologies.
• Participate in continuous training to stay updated on industry innovations.
• Record data related to coating thickness and quality for auditing purposes.
• Assist in quality inspections and testing of coated lenses.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate's Degree in a relevant field is a plus.

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing, particularly in optical coatings is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Familiarity with coating applications
• Experience with lens materials

Soft Skills

• Detail-oriented

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automated coating machinery: Familiarity with operating and maintaining automated coating equipment.
• Knowledge of safety protocols: Understanding industry-standard safety protocols related to chemical handling.
