We are seeking a reliable and skilled Tank Car, Truck, and Ship Loader to operate cranes and forklifts at our busy loading facility. This role is crucial for ensuring that cargo is loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate should have strong attention to detail and be able to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate loading equipment such as cranes and forklifts for efficient cargo management.
• Comply with operational safety standards while loading and unloading goods.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
• Coordinate with team members to optimize the loading/unloading process.
• Document and report any incidents or safety hazards immediately.
• Participate in safety training and continuous improvements for workplace safety.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in heavy equipment operation preferred.

Technical Skills

• Heavy equipment operation
• Cargo management software

Soft Skills

• Communication

Certifications

• Certification in heavy equipment operation
• Forklift operator certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in maritime operations: Previous work in a barge loading environment is a plus.
