Job Description

The Artificial Breast Fabrication Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production of silicone breast prostheses, ensuring compliance with quality control standards and managing production schedules. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in production management and team leadership, along with a solid understanding of manufacturing processes related to medical devices.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the fabrication of silicone breast prostheses, ensuring timelines are adhered to and standards are maintained.
  • Conduct regular training and development initiatives for production employees on safety and fabrication techniques.
  • Keep track of raw materials and ensure timely ordering to support uninterrupted production.
  • Work closely with the Quality Assurance team to proactively address production issues and uphold standards.
  • Ensure the production area is safe, organized, and conducive to quality output.
  • Evaluate and refine production practices for maximum efficiency and quality output.
  • Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging feedback and innovation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • Master's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment with supervisory experience.
Technical Skills
  • Experience with silicone molding
  • Experience with 3D printing
Soft Skills
  • Analytical thinking
  • Strong leadership abilities
Languages
  • English: Fluent

  • Experience with 3D printing techniques: Hands-on experience with 3D printing in a manufacturing context.
