Job Description

As a Heat Treating Equipment Setter, Operator, and Tender, you will oversee the operation of our plate furnace, ensuring optimal performance and product quality. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate heat treating equipment, adjusting controls for temperature and pressure as needed.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Document production processes and results accurately.
• Utilize hand and power tools for equipment maintenance and repair.
• Collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure product compliance.
• Respond promptly to equipment alarms and malfunctions.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree or technical certification in manufacturing preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of hot metal processing or related fields experience

Technical Skills

• Heat Treating Techniques
• Machine Operation

• Flexibility

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Data Analysis Experience: Experience with analyzing production data for process improvement.
