Job Description

We are seeking skilled Petroleum Pump System Operators, Refinery Operators, and Gaugers to join our team in Houston. The ideal candidates will have a solid understanding of petroleum operations and a commitment to safety and efficiency in handling petroleum products. You will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the operations of pumping systems, ensuring that all equipment is functioning properly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain petroleum processing equipment.
• Conduct regular assessments and routine maintenance of pumping systems.
• Monitor safety and compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Assist in the training of new operators on equipment operations.
• Prepare daily operational logs and reports for supervisory review.
• Identify areas for operational improvement and recommend solutions.
• Participate in hazard assessments as part of the safety management program.
• Engage actively in safety culture initiatives within the team.
• Support environmental protection efforts in daily operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in petroleum technology or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in refinery operations or gauging

Technical Skills

• Pumping systems operation
• Operational troubleshooting

Soft Skills

• Critical thinking
• Communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Advanced certification in petroleum operations: Preferred candidates will hold advanced certification relevant to petroleum engineering.
