Job Description

As a Hydroelectric Plant Technician, you will be pivotal in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of electrical systems within our hydroelectric power plants. You will perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting tasks while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to plan and execute preventive maintenance.
• Assist in the installation of new electrical systems in hydroelectric plants.
• Document all maintenance actions and report any findings to management.
• Stay informed about industry advancements and safety practices.
• Participate in emergency response drills and training as needed.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in electrical systems maintenance, specifically within the renewable energy sector.

Certifications

• Journeyman Electrician Certification
