Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team in Orlando, FL. The ideal candidate will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care, conduct examinations, and assist in developing treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient interviews and medical histories.
• Assist the head physician in diagnosing and treating diseases and injuries.
• Prescribe medications and provide treatment recommendations.
• Perform diagnostic tests and interpret results.
• Educate patients on lifestyle changes and preventative health measures.
• Coordinate with specialists for patient referrals and follow-up care.
• Ensure comprehensive documentation of all patient interactions.
• Engage in continuous education to remain current on best practices.
• Support new staff and contribute to team training.
• Implement quality improvement initiatives in patient care.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a related health field
• Master's in Physician Assistant Studies preferred

Experience

• 2 years of experience in a clinical setting

Certifications

• BLS Certification

Languages

Advantageous
