Computed Tomography Technologist (CTT)

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Computed Tomography Technologist (CTT) to execute CT scans and support patient care in our medical imaging facility. You will play a key role in producing precise diagnostic images that enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans based on physician orders.
• Ensure that patients are comfortable and secure during the scanning process.
• Operate, troubleshoot, and ensure proper maintenance of CT imaging equipment.
• Monitor vital signs of patients and act in emergencies as necessary.
• Administer necessary contrast media for specific examinations.
• Evaluate CT images for quality and completeness.
• Document patient records timely and accurately.
• Follow safety protocols for infection control and patient care.
• Engage in continued education regarding new technologies.
• Work closely with healthcare professionals for improved patient care.

Requirements

Education

• ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field

Experience

• 2+ years in CT imaging and patient management.

• Radiation Safety Knowledge

Certifications

• Advanced CT Imaging Techniques Certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
