Job Description

As a Home Health Aide with HealthCare Associates Inc., you will play a vital role in assisting patients with daily activities and personal care tasks. You'll work closely with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best care possible in a home environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care and support, ensuring comfort and safety.
  • Assist patients in basic tasks like grooming and meal preparation.
  • Document changes in patient health and report to the nursing staff.
  • Support patients in physical therapy and rehabilitation activities.
  • Provide education and resources to patients about health and wellness.
  • Maintain patient records and document care activities accurately.
  • Actively listen and respond to patients' needs and concerns.
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to enhance patient care.
  • Participate in training sessions and continuing education opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification in Medical Assisting or relevant field is an asset
Experience
  • Experience in a home health care setting is preferred

Certifications
  • CPR and First Aid Certification
