Rate Supervisor

Job Description

The Rate Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the rate-setting process to ensure accuracy and compliance with all regulations. In this role, you'll lead a team of analysts while collaborating across departments to establish and maintain optimal pricing policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of strategic pricing policies across product lines.
• Oversee the review of pricing data to maintain its accuracy.
• Support cross-department collaboration to enhance pricing structures.
• Analyze competitive landscape and adjust pricing accordingly.
• Prepare detailed reports for senior management regarding pricing performance.
• Ensure efficient project management within the pricing team.
• Conduct regular training sessions for the team on new pricing software.
• Work with stakeholders to optimize rate-setting processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Mathematics
• MBA or Master's in a related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in pricing

Technical Skills

• Advanced Excel
• R Programming

Certifications

• Financial Risk Manager (FRM)
• Lean Six Sigma Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
