Blacksmith Assistant

Job Description

The Blacksmith Assistant will work alongside the Blacksmith to produce high-quality metal products. This role is ideal for individuals seeking to learn the art of blacksmithing while utilizing physical strength and technical knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support the Blacksmith in finishing metalwork projects.
• Assist in layout and design tasks for new products.
• Participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving during production.
• Contribute to team meetings and brainstorming sessions for improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in a related field is preferred.

Experience

• Experience in an apprenticeship is preferred.

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with blacksmithing tools: Hands-on experience with tools such as anvils, hammers, and tongs.
