Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to provide support during cardiac catheterizations. Your expertise will be vital in operating imaging equipment, managing sterile fields, and ensuring patient comfort during procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals in the cardiac lab.
  • Conduct technical assessments of patients before procedures.
  • Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions during procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families about the procedure and aftercare.
  • Prepare patients for discharge with proper instructions.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient data and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous training and professional development.

Requirements

Education
  • Completion of an accredited cardiovascular technology program
  • RCIS certification is advantageous
Experience
  • At least 2 years in a cardiac catheterization lab
Technical Skills
  • Medical imaging software proficiency
  • Safety protocols knowledge
Soft Skills
  • Teamwork
  • Problem-solving
Certifications
  • BLS certification required
  • ACLS certification preferred
Languages
  • English: Fluent
