Job Description

As an Industrial Cook, you will be responsible for preparing large quantities of food in an efficient manner while maintaining high standards of food safety. This role requires strong culinary skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook large batches of food efficiently while adhering to quality standards.
  • Ensure that kitchen equipment is maintained and cleaned regularly.
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before serving.
  • Coordinate food production with other team members to meet service schedules.
  • Implement food safety practices to reduce the risk of contamination.
  • Keep track of inventory levels and assist in stock management.
  • Participate in menu planning and development activities.
  • Provide excellent customer service in food service interactions.
  • Adapt menus to accommodate special dietary needs as required.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Culinary degree highly preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in food production or commercial kitchens
