Job Description

The Shotblaster is responsible for operating shotblasting equipment to remove rust, scale, and other surface contaminants from metal parts, ensuring proper surface preparation for subsequent processes.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean work environment.
• Document production data for tracking purposes.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding workflow.
• Assist in training new employees on shotblasting operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• Previous experience in shotblasting or similar role preferred

Technical Skills

• Forklift Operation
• Quality Control Procedures

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Time Management

Certifications

• Safety Certifications or Training (preferred)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in metal fabrication or manufacturing environment: Hands-on experience in a related manufacturing setting.
• Knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting: Ability to perform basic maintenance on shotblasting equipment.
