Job Description

As a Rendering Equipment Tender, you will be at the heart of our meat processing operations. Your role will involve the operation and maintenance of rendering equipment, critical for converting animal by-products into valuable materials. Responsibilities

• Run rendering equipment in accordance with established safety regulations.
• Adjust the rendering process as necessary to optimize efficiency.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on equipment.
• Ensure regular cleaning and sanitization of machinery to maintain safety standards.
• Log and manage by-products designated for rendering processes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to streamline operations and achieve production objectives.
• Implement quality control measures to assure high-quality outputs.
• Diagnose and rectify minor equipment malfunctions.
• Follow established health and safety protocols rigorously.
• Document all maintenance, operation, and production data in an organized manner.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in equipment operation, maintenance, or related field (preferred)

Experience

• Previous experience in the rendering or meat processing industry is advantageous.
