Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance for clients in their daily routines.
• Monitor and record any changes in client behavior or health.
• Assist clients with meal preparation and dietary needs.
• Help clients with mobility and physical therapies.
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment.
• Engage clients in social activities and emotional support.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals for client needs.
• Participate in training workshops to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Document client progress and communicate with families about care plans.
• Offer companionship and friendship to enhance the client's social well-being.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a recognized PSW program

Experience

• Experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is essential.

Technical Skills

• Basic Medical Knowledge

• Cultural Competency

Certifications

• Current CPR and First Aid

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in palliative care: Experience providing care to patients nearing end-of-life stages.
