Job Description

The Compressor Operator will be responsible for safely operating and maintaining gas compressors and associated equipment in diverse industrial settings. This role requires expertise in monitoring equipment performance and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of compressor systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in safety meetings and contribute to safety protocols.
• Train junior operators on proper compressor operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for system improvements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Technical degree in machine operation preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of SCADA systems
• Ability to operate CMMS software

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving Skills
• Organizational Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent
