Job Description

We are seeking dedicated Refuse and Recyclable Material Collectors to join our team in Houston. As essential members of our workforce, collectors will ensure the efficient collection and disposal of waste and recyclables, contributing to a cleaner, healthier environment.

Responsibilities

• Collect refuse and recyclables from residential and commercial locations.
• Check that all collected materials are disposed of in compliance with local regulations.
• Assist with sorting recyclable materials as needed.
• Engage with the community to raise awareness about waste management.
• Document and report collection data accurately.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards during collection.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Previous experience in waste management or a similar role is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Heavy machinery operation
• Basic mechanical knowledge

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving skills
• Adaptability

Certifications

• CDL license preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent
