Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Machine Setter to join our team. The main responsibility of this role is to set up and maintain machines for efficient and effective production. You will ensure smooth operation and perform necessary adjustments to meet production specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines for efficient production runs, ensuring settings match specifications.
• Conduct preventive maintenance to prolong machine life and prevent production delays.
• Collaborate with engineering to propose improvements to machinery and processes.
• Manage material inventory to avoid production interruptions.
• Lead efforts in training junior machine operators.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in mechanical technologies preferred

Experience

• 3+ years in a manufacturing environment

Technical Skills

• CNC Machine Operation
• Quality Control Techniques

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with CAD Software: Experience using CAD software for machine design and layout.
