Job Description

Timberland Services is seeking dedicated Logging Workers to join our team in Reno, NV. The ideal candidate will be responsible for directing traffic at construction sites and ensuring the safety of workers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Manage and facilitate traffic control at logging sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
• Assist team in the setup and teardown of work zones.
• Provide clear instructions to drivers and pedestrians.
• Monitor site conditions and report hazards immediately.
• Engage in daily safety checks with the team.
• Maintain documentation of daily activities and safety compliance.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1+ year of experience in construction or logging environments

Technical Skills

• Safety Protocols
• Heavy Equipment Operation

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Dependability

Certifications

• Traffic Control Certification
• First Aid/CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in Traffic Control: A further advantage to have additional training or certifications related to traffic management.
• Experience with Logging Operations: Prior experience in the forestry sector is highly regarded.
