Job Description

As a Wool Puller, your primary responsibility will be to carefully and efficiently remove wool from our livestock. You will play a key role in maintaining animal welfare while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform wool pulling on livestock such as sheep and goats using proper techniques.
• Handle animals gently to ensure safety during the wool removal process.
• Maintain hygiene standards to prevent contamination.
• Monitor animal behavior and health, reporting any unusual observations.
• Collaborate with the shearing team to improve efficiencies.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing duties.
• Ensure workspace is clean and organized.
• Assist with additional farm care tasks as needed.
• Participate in team meetings and adapt to changing schedules.
• Operate and maintain necessary tools and equipment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in wool pulling or similar role

Languages

• English: Fluent
