Tool Inspector

Job Description

As a Tool Inspector, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our tools and equipment. You will inspect a variety of mechanical and electrical tools, ensuring they meet industry standards and are safe for use.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections on a wide range of power and hand tools.
• Identify training needs for staff and provide relevant guidance.
• Analyze data regarding tool performance and safety incidents.
• Support product development teams with insights from tool inspections.
• Enhance safety protocols based on inspection outcomes.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or construction environment

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of calibration procedures
• Experience with electronic testing equipment

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certification in specific types of equipment inspection: Such as welding equipment or heavy machinery.
• Experience with maintenance management systems: Familiarity with software for tracking maintenance and inspections.
