Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Rod Drawer to join our team. As a Rod Drawer, you will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings of rods used in various applications. This role involves working closely with engineers and production teams, requiring attention to detail and proficiency in CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Generate precise technical drawings from initial specifications.
• Verify dimensional accuracy of drawings and adaptability for production.
• Work alongside engineering and production teams during the design phase.
• Engage in regular reviews of drawing updates with supervisors.
• Document changes thoroughly to ensure historical correctness.
• Evaluate designs against safety regulations and standards.
• Assist in training junior staff on drawing processes and standards.
• Make recommendations for tool and process improvements.
• Participate in safety and compliance workshops.
• Support production team by answering technical questions related to drawings.

Requirements

Education

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology or similar

Experience

• Proven experience in rod manufacturing preferred

Technical Skills

• 3D Modeling Software

Certifications

Languages
