We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Blasting Contract Manager to oversee all aspects of blasting contracts in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional knowledge of blasting techniques, safety regulations, and project management principles. This position requires strong leadership abilities as well as excellent communication and organizational skills, enabling the successful execution of complex blasting operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of blasting contracts, ensuring compliance with safety and project requirements.
• Facilitate communication and coordination between various stakeholders, including clients and subcontractors.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure safe work practices during blasting operations.
• Prepare and present reports on project status, including safety and performance metrics.
• Work with environmental specialists to assess and mitigate the environmental impacts of blasting activities.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance blasting processes and efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related field
• Certification in blasting techniques and safety (e.g., Certified Blaster, OSHA Certification)

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in blasting operations or project management
