Job Description

As a Cloth Baler, you will play a vital role in the textile recycling industry. You will be responsible for the operation of baling machinery to compress and bundle various types of fabrics into manageable bales. This position demands attention to detail and physical stamina as you monitor equipment, ensure production goals are met, and maintain cleanliness in the work area.

Responsibilities

  • Operate cloth balers with a focus on safety and efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections and adjustments of equipment.
  • Record and monitor inventory data for bales produced.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on machinery.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot minor mechanical issues as they arise.
  • Keep work areas clean and organized for optimal flow.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of textile materials.
  • Achieve production efficiency while maintaining quality standards.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in textile or similar industries is a plus.
Experience
  • 2+ years of similar experience is preferred.
