First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated First-Line Supervisor of Production and Operating Workers who will oversee daily operations, ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will lead a team, manage workflows, and implement best practices in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production meetings and manage workflow of team members.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure production efficiency and safety.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to resolve production issues swiftly.
• Train new employees on operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Address employee concerns and provide constructive feedback.
• Track and report on KPIs related to production and operational efficiency.
• Assist in implementing Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement among team members.
• Coordinate with supply chain management to optimize inventory levels.
• Ensure all equipment and tools are properly maintained and functional.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing/production environment
