Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Can Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the canning industry and possess the necessary skills and qualifications to excel in this role, including a keen attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate canning machines according to product specifications.
• Monitor machine operations and resolve any issues that arise.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure quality.
• Document production and quality metrics accurately.
• Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve goals.
• Participate in training sessions to improve skills and efficiency.
• Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles.
• Assist with onboarding and mentoring new staff.
• Participate in safety and compliance training.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Experience with automated canning systems is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects
• Basic mathematical skills

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• OSHA Forklift Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
