As a Microfilm Processor, you play a vital role in our document management team. You will manage the processing of microfilms, conduct equipment maintenance, and uphold the integrity of our preservation practices.
Responsibilities
Verify the accuracy of images processed.
Conduct regular quality checks and audits of microfilm output.
Assist in inventory management of microfilm materials.
Train new staff on processing equipment and techniques.
Communicate with the operations manager about equipment issues.
Implement best practices for document preservation.
Maintain a log of daily processing activities.
Assist in data entry for digital backup against physical microfilms.
Requirements
Education
High School Diploma
Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
1-3 years of experience in microfilm processing or document management.
