Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Iron Cutter to join our growing team. This position involves cutting, shaping, and sizing metal according to specifications to produce high-quality metal products. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and experience with various cutting tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze blueprints and prepare materials for cutting.
• Setup and operate cutting machinery and tools proficiently.
• Perform regular maintenance on cutting tools to prevent downtime.
• Inspect and test products for quality assurance.
• Collaboratively meet production deadlines with the team.
• Follow all safety standards and participate in safety training.
• Keep detailed records of production and adjustments made.
• Provide guidance to trainees and new staff members.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational training in metalworking or welding is advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years in metal cutting or fabrication environments

Technical Skills

• Precision Cutting

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Certifications in Metal Fabrication: Holder of relevant industry certifications is a plus.
• Knowledge of CNC Machining: Experience with CNC machinery is advantageous.
