We are seeking a dedicated Epidemiologist to join our team in Washington, DC. In this role, you will conduct vital research and analysis to inform public health policies and programs. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a passion for public health.

Responsibilities

• Lead epidemiological assessments and evaluations of health programs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address public health challenges.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret health data for research and policy development.
• Disseminate research results through publications, conferences, and community forums.
• Stay informed regarding new public health research and methodologies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Public Health
• PhD in Epidemiology is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years in public health or epidemiology research

Technical Skills

• Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Interpersonal Skills

Certifications

• Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES)
• Certified in Public Health (CPH)

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in Communicable Disease Surveillance: Hands-on experience in monitoring and addressing communicable disease outbreaks.
