X-Ray Nurse

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled X-Ray Nurse to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in assisting with diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and delivering high-quality imaging services.

Responsibilities

• Carry out diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Administer contrast agents as necessary and monitor patients during imaging.
• Assure adherence to all safety protocols, maintaining a sterile environment.
• Educate patients about imaging procedures and aftercare instructions.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists to ensure accurate image interpretation.
• Document imaging procedures accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Certification in radiologic technology preferred.

Experience

• Prior experience in medical imaging or radiology is highly desirable.

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification is a plus.
