Job Description

As a LAN Applications Support Analyst, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and supporting the Local Area Network (LAN) applications and software within our organization. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of these applications, providing prompt troubleshooting assistance, and optimizing system performance. Your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency and productivity of our teams.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and troubleshoot LAN hardware and software.
  • Assist in the upgrade and installation of LAN applications.
  • Document issues and resolutions for future reference.
  • Provide technical support for LAN applications to internal users.
  • Monitor performance metrics and implement optimizations.
  • Collaborate with departments to address application-specific needs.
  • Liaise with vendors for technical support issues beyond your scope.
  • Assist in data migration and system setup for new applications.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Microsoft Certification is advantageous
Experience
  • 2-4 years of experience in LAN Applications Support preferably in an enterprise environment
