Job Description

As a Neurodiagnostic Technologist, you will perform crucial EEG tests on patients to help diagnose neurological disorders. You will utilize advanced equipment and software to monitor brain activity and provide detailed reports for physicians.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct EEG tests while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
  • Document detailed EEG findings and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in the development and improvement of EEG protocols.
  • Provide education and support to patients regarding their procedures.
  • Actively participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in EEG technology or related field
Experience
  • At least 1 year of experience in EEG technology or a related field.
Technical Skills

Certifications
  • Current certification as an EEG Technologist from ABRET or equivalent
  • Current BLS certification

  • Experience with evoked potential testing: Knowledge in conducting evoked potential tests as part of diagnostic procedures.
