Job Description

As an Agricultural Worker specializing in water management, you will be responsible for overseeing water treatment systems and ensuring a safe and efficient water supply for agricultural use. In this role, you will collaborate with other professionals to identify water quality issues and implement conservation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the operation of water treatment facilities to ensure safety.
  • Conduct regular inspections of water quality to identify hazards.
  • Work with farming teams to manage irrigation systems efficiently.
  • Engage in community outreach for water conservation education.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all water systems.
  • Collaborate with environmental engineers to improve water resource management.
  • Compile reports on water usage trends for analysis and action.
  • Respond promptly to water-related emergencies and incidents.
  • Facilitate training for staff on water management practices.
  • Assist in the evaluation of new water management technologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Environmental Science or Agriculture is preferred
  • Certifications in Water Resource Management are advantageous

  • 3+ years of practical experience in water management or agricultural practices
